So today I'm sharing 12 fall fashion trends that are not cool anymore and what to wear instead.

There are some new trends on the block for fall that you should consider.

The first fall fashion trend that's just not as cool anymore, it is the plaid flannel jackets.

They were just so popular for the last few years. But what we're seeing this year instead are suede jackets, suede is huge right now. It appearing in everything from jackets to boots and bags.

Everyone loves their fall cardigans, especially the longer ones that we've been seeing for the last few years.

Shorter cardigans are way more in for this year. So if you don't have a shorter cardigan, you should get one just because they're a little more versatile. You can wear it open like an actual cardigan, but I'm actually seeing way more people just have them buttoned up or at least mostly buttoned up and wear it as a shirt. It’s just more versatile.

Then, let’s talk about boots. Traditional fall boots are still great,

 but this year, “biker moto boots” are taking center stage. If that’s not your style, opt for chic suede boots that can withstand wet weather with a protective spray.

Moving along to trouser pants. So for the last few years, these are the trouser pants that we've all been wearing,

 but we're really seeing the wide leg, just baggier trouser pants for every occasion, whether it be very, casual with a pair of sneakers, or very dressy with a pair of heels, you just really can't go wrong with a wide leg pair of trousers. I would definitely say go a little tighter form fitting on top, but it is such a more up to date look for fall 2024.

And that is a perfect segue into the next trend, which is pumps or heels.

So instead of wearing regular pumps, kitten heels are huge for this year, and they look especially good with those trouser pants even if you aren't wearing trouser pants, and you just want to wear like a skirt, or even a pair of jeans, kitten heels are so in right now. Definitely go for the pointed look. They’re really easy to wear, they're easy to walk around in, and they're just super in style.

Finally, the oversized blazers that once ruled the fashion are not that cool anymore,

we’re seeing more cinched Blazers that accentuate your waist, giving you a more tailored appearance. Belting your blazer is fantastic ways to have a much smaller waist your shoulders are more broad.

It's like a nice kind of accent you can do to show off your waist better and it's, it's just more in for this year. But I am going to make a prediction for sweaters. Because of that cinching trend, they're going to start incorporating that into sweaters. So here's an example of that. I bet we start seeing that later this year or even next year.
